Harriet’s practice is focused on private client work, in particular from a corporate and financial services angle, although she also deals with residency applications, in particular with regard to Category 2 applications, and tax registration matters.

Harriet completed her training contact at a large Gibraltar law firm where she undertook seats in the Funds, Commercial and Tax departments. Upon completion of her 2 year training contract in 2012 Harriet was admitted to the UK Roll of Solicitors and she qualified into the funds department as an associate before being called to the Bar in Gibraltar. Harriet spent the next few years specialising in the set up and structuring of investment funds within the funds team and is experienced in the set-up of experienced investor funds and private schemes. During her time there Harriet undertook a six month placement as a regulatory officer at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Having spent a number of years in the funds department Harriet moved to another firm where she became involved in working with family enterprises including assisting with the setup of a family office for a high networth family. This included advising the clients on matters of family governance and assisting with the structuring of family wealth through robust structures established to enable easy transition of wealth and knowledge across generations, stimulating growth and preservation of family wealth. Harriet’s experience in establishing private funds as a way of growing family wealth has been utilised in the private client sector.

Having an interest in commercial and corporate matters Harriet has also been involved with a cross-border merger of a gaming company, the acquisition by a leading overseas gaming company of a local gaming platform and has experience in drafting of B2B commercial service agreements.

Harriet joined Legacy Consulting in 2017 until its acquisition by ISOLAS LLP in 2018.
