We are looking to recruit a Facilities Support Assistant with a professional image who will assist the Facilities Supervisor with sustaining a safe and productive working environment for all employees, whilst attending to the delivery/collection of documents and packages in a confidential manner.


  • Post Room Duties – Franking, sorting and distribution of mail, ensuring that urgent mail is given the priority that it requires.
  • Assisting with maintaining the company’s filing system and ensuring it is kept organised and up to date.
  • Providing support and cover for messengers as and when required.
  • Providing support and cover on Reception when necessary.
  • Assisting with the delivery and collection of cash to and from different organisations within Gibraltar.
  • Assisting with the monthly distribution of The Gibraltar Magazine.
  • Office Porterage duties when required, including office moves/furniture moves.
  • Providing general assistance to the Facilities Team on a daily basis, helping to ensure the smooth running of the departments function across the business.


To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Fluent in English & Spanish desirable
  • Full Driving License & Bike License (125cc)
  • Flexible approach to working hours and ability to provide occasional after-hour support.
  • An effective time manager, calm and decisive with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Proactive and responsive/able to adapt quickly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide professional and friendly customer service
  • Team player, able to work in an environment of collective responsibility, and on own initiative.
