Selwyn rejoined the Firm in April 2008 after a short stint in the employed bar. Selwyn's practice spans a number of fields with a decidedly commercial slant. Having practiced alongside Christian Hernandez and the Managing Partner Christian Rocca on a number of matters, Selwyn's experience in banking, corporate finance and regulatory matters makes his welcome return to the firm a valuable contribution to the breadth of experience of the team at ISOLAS.
Selwyn has recently adopted responsibility for the firm's Business Development and is busy creating new and developing existing relationships with the firm's clients and partners.

Selwyn spends a lot of his time in London and Switzerland, two centres with which ISOLAS has a strong link and continues to establish new relationships. He has spent much of his time in the last year or so developing new strategies for delivering the message internationally of Gibraltar's place on the international commercial stage. With the development of the jurisdiction as a real alternative to established funds centres and the rediscovery of the the Rock as a model of a specialist onshore finance centre, Selwyn has been busy getting the message out.

Surprisingly capable on a bicycle, he's shocked all-comers by recently successfully completing a 550km marathon cycle ride from Cape St Vincent in Portugal to Gibraltar over 5 days.
