Michael qualified in 2011 and joined ISOLAS directly. Obtaining a masters in Commercial Law prior to undertaking the BPTC, Michael has joined the commercial and funds team and is looking forward to learning the ropes and the sometimes significant differences between commercial practice here and in the UK
Michael joins ISOLAS' growing Funds team in response to burgeoning demand for legal services in this sector. ISOLAS has been focusing, for a number of years now, siginificant resources in developing this area of practice both by promoting the firm but, more importantly, promoting the funds product itself in London, Geneva and Switzerland actively.

Michael is huge football fan and unlike most glory-seekers in the ISOLAS office, he is a dedicated supporter of Real Betis (of which he is a season ticket holder) and Newcastle United. He believes that the despair that often comes with following these humble teams is what being a true football supporter is all about! Michael enjoys playing football for his local team, snowboarding in the winter and made his first ever Bungee Jump in the summer of 2011. Michael also enjoys travelling and has described his recent 2 month backpacking trip through South East Asia as the most incredible experience of his life.
