Karl has cultivated a wide-ranging experience in general civil, banking, financial services and funds litigation. Karl is involved in a number of financial mis-selling claims – both on behalf of affected investors, and financial services providers. He has also advised a number of banks on the implementation of European initiatives.
In addition to his legal training, Karl has also had four years industry experience as Managing Director of a leading Gibraltar-based Insurance Intermediary. Karl’s background provides a unique outlook of the issues facing both claimants and insurers.
Karl also regularly advises on employment matters, both for employers and employees, and has recently set up his very own Gibraltar Employment Law Blog which provides the reader with a growing source of information about Gibraltar Employment Law.
Karl’s practice is currently focused on banking and primarily on defendant personal injury litigation.

He likes to believe that he is the best “rotund skier” in Sierra Nevada each winter. He has been known to play padel tennis and cycles occasionally when invited by his speed thirsty colleagues.. Not many know, or would quite frankly believe, that Karl is an adrenaline junkie currently in family-imposed remission. He has however satiated his craving for a thrill by returning to motorcycling after a long break.
