Christian is a member of the Commercial Team at ISOLAS and works closely with both Jonathan Garcia and Joey Garcia, focusing predominantly on Funds.
During his time in ISOLAS, Christian has been involved in the drafting of documents and the preparation for launch of various Gibraltar Private Funds and Experienced Investor Funds. He has also gained some expertise in relation to Hedge Funds and Funds in competing jurisdictions such as Malta, Jersey, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Bermuda and Luxembourg.
Christian also undertakes a range of general commercial and corporate matters, often assisting Senior Associate Steven Caetano, in the areas of Gaming, E-commerce, Financial Services Regulation and Intellectual property as part of his engagements in the ISOLAS Commercial team.
Christian has enjoyed a varied workload of late. Aside from his commitments to the Funds area he has of late delved into some trade licensing work, given advice on a planning permission application and is in the process of securing a licence from the Financial Services Commission for a client. Furthermore, he has recently managed to obtain a favourable out of court settlement in a contentious debt recovery dispute between two local companies.
