ISOLAS via The “Peter J Isola Charitable Foundation” has sponsored a philatelic cover to provide funds for RAF Gibraltar’s Benevolent Fund. The cover post-marked 19th September 2009 is to commemorate the RAF Station Gibraltar and the visit of the “Red Arrows” aerobatic flight team.

The cover depicts three Gibraltar stamps, a RAF Red Hawk T Mk.1, a Jaguar GR1 the new “Gate Guardian” and the latest aircraft in the RAF Fleet, the Typhoon – Euro Fighter.

Pictured:- David Eveson of Heritage Products (Gibraltar) Limited who organised the memorabilia, Flight Lieutenant Ade Lutman OC Ops Flt RAF Gibraltar, and from ISOLAS, Elliott Phillips and Senior Partner Albert Isola.

Commenting on the scheme Elliott Phillips remarked that “it is a pleasure and we are proud to be associated with the world famous Red Arrows on their very welcome visit to Gibraltar. We have been working closely with the MOD for many years and are delighted to be involved with this project. PJ (the late Peter Isola) would have approved!”
